YWAM India at Chennai works and concentrates in four areas of holistic development programs in Physical, Education, Moral and Social development of the communities where we serve the people involved in our programs and care. PACT has a four-pronged program approach through which it operates.

Hospital Visits: Our staffs visit HIV/AIDS affected patients in hospitals, which treat such patients. We build relationships, provide counseling and try to meet practical material needs.

Home Based Care: Our staffs also visit patients at their homes. We provide material and financial needs, as our budget is able to help. We also help them with any other assistance they would need. These visits of our staff create an atmosphere of love and care through which we encourage the family members to reciprocate. This encourages the family members to accept their sick loved ones wholeheartedly.

Hospice for women: PACT has set up a hospice for the destitute women suffering with AIDS. They are provided with counseling, medical care, personal needs and vocational training. For these women the hospice is also a home where they can live with dignity. The families of these patients are met and counseled.

Hospice for children: Plans are a put to start a separate shelter for the children who are HIV+ These children will get education, medical care, entertainment and moral care and support. We would meet every need of these unfortunate children who are destined to die at a very young age. We plan to give them all the love & care that children need by appointing staff trained to work with children and also making their short lives a meaningful one before they
